this baby is knit by hand out of various pieces of recycled/gifted/thrifted materials. inspired by my mennonite heritage of knitting together colourful scraps to make rags, this sweater is intentionally quirky and raw.
meant to fit super boxy and cropped. can be worn front to back/back to front. like getting 2 different sweaters!
this is not an ordinary polished sweater... seams are left exposed, and many yarn ends are left raw and tufted. hand knitting allows for beautiful inconsistencies in texture and stitch, and this sweater will be a one-of-a-kind thing of beauty for years to come.
