we only had enough of this vintage quilted fabric (produced in canada in the 70's!) to make a small handful of this vest. a golden olive green quilted nylon blend, trimmed/bound with royal blue, magnolia pink, and just a pop of poppy red.
to counter the excitement of the colours, we decided to keep the fit super basic, and went with the exact drafted pattern of the super popular "trucker vest". it's an easy, well-worn fit.
boxy, slightly cropped fit with slit sides, attached only under armpit. meant to fit roomy, with the option of layering. kam snaps down centre front.
